É verdade, nunca esquecerei o desertico Karoo, Victoria Falls, Cape Town, Pretoria e todo aquele percurso lindissimo por terras de Afrika que para sempre guardo no meu coração, efectuado com a melhor companhia do meu mundo - os meus Pais! Eu tinha 12 anos.

Partimos de comboio da cidade da Beira-Moçambique para a Rodhesia- Umtali, Bulawayo e uma estadia de 3 dias em Victoria Falls que é mais uma jóia que contribui para tornar Afrika o continente das "minas do rei Salomão". En route para a Áfrika do Sul-Jo"burg e Pretoria.

Toda a sofisticação britânica num conforto arábico, emoldurando en passant as neves eternas do lendário monte do Kilimanjaro, o pico mais alto de Afrika. Após a despedida do trem Azul, uns dias de descoberta em Cape Town com a sua montanha com a mesa posta de nuvens, o mercado das flores, as suas lindas praias onde os oceanos Atlântico e Indico se encontram de forma sempre violenta, um paquete, o "Warwick Castle" para Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London, Lourenço Marques e finalmente a Beira.

Que bela tem sido a minha VIDA que me permite reviver momentos extraordinários e exóticos, não repetíveis, porque tudo em AFRIKA se modificou, mas eu não!
